Every so often, The Country Music Hall of Fame honors legendary songwriters and musicians with their Poets & Prophets events. This one in particular was for Dennis Morgan. I was tasked with creating an intriguing composition of primarily type to honor and celebrate Dennis’ most famous songs. Through the use of traditional letterpress techniques; sketching, typesetting, proofing, and printing, I eventually landed on this design after a several revisions. It was a great opportunity to design for the Country Music Hall of Fame and for the legendary Dennis Morgan.
