PRINT READY DIELINE

For this project, I created a completely unique structural dieline and branding design for a chocolate bar. Living in Bozeman, and considering the local culture, I decided to create Cowboy Coffee Chocolate. With a target audience of blue collar workers, this chocolate bar infused with honey and coffee beans is designed to satisfy your sweet tooth while providing a caffeine boost that is significant enough to last the whole work day. Utilizing a patroitic color way, I illustrated a cowboy hat that is framed by two cowboy boots and a set of slightly ambiguous longhorns. In the center, I created a unique typeface inspired by old western rodeo posters to spell out “Cowboy Coffee Chocolate”. Within the cowboy boots, there are two contrasting landscapes to highlight that this chocolate bar can provide you energy from day to night. As far as the package design, I created a cream colored 5 x 5 inch square box to really stand out on the shelf compared to all the brown and dark toned chocolate packaging that is currently used. Some curvy edges on the side flaps with a notch enclosure made the whole thing come together. Lastly, I shaped the top and bottom flaps to resemble the top of a cowboy hat. Overall, this package and label design are both intriguing and beautiful.
